Working-class white people in Foleshill and Hillfields

There are a lot of white working-class people in Hillfields and Foleshill.

Some are Irish, Scottish, or Ukrainian - some were raised in Foleshill (like RonParker, though he doesn't live here now) - and some came more recently.

A number have worked hard in ResidentsAssociations and other community groups over the years.

Interesting thought: There are more ethnically-mixed marriages/partnerships in an area like Foleshill than in lots of parts of the country, and many more ethnically-mixed schools, streets, etc. So white people here are much more likely to have friends, neighbours and family who aren't white than in most parts of the UK (including in most "middle-class areas").
