Hi - I'm one half of the Visionary! I have spent most of my adult life involved in Community Development in one way or another. I've worked (paid and voluntary) in playgroups, childminded, worked with children and managed children's workers, worked with young people and adults. Ive brought up three amazing and brilliant daughters and several dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and horses! I have been a city councillor for this Foleshill area for five years - which wasn't pleasurable much of the time but was a great way to meet people, understand the system and I learned a lot (and aged enormously!!). Mark, me and Sarah had a Community consultation business which ran for a few years, where we became experts at consulting so-called 'hard to reach' groups.

I was born and raised in Coventry, then Kenilworth, Leamington and Warwick, and have never moved away. Last year we travelled far and wide for ten months and now I am bitten by the travelling bug and want to do more and maybe even go and live abroad at some point - (main candidate so far is Kerala).
